Who We See

Dr Behrad Samadi MD FEBO is an ophthalmologist trained at Karolinska Institutet, St Erik's Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He welcomes referrals for cataract assessment and surgery, as well as other eye conditions.

Cataract surgery is performed in-clinic at Dr. Foley's Eye Clinic under local anaesthesia, as a day case, so your patient has no hospital stay.

How Referral Works

1. Complete the form below with your details, your patient's details and your clinical findings. You can attach supporting files.

2. We contact your patient to arrange an appointment. Referred patients are seen within 2 weeks.

3. Assessment and treatment. Dr Samadi assesses your patient and discusses options, including lens choices (monofocal, toric and EDOF/multifocal) where cataract surgery is appropriate.

What to Include

The more detail you can share, the better we can prepare. Helpful information includes best-corrected visual acuity, current refraction, intraocular pressure, your clinical findings, and how your patient's vision is affecting daily activities such as reading or driving.
